FASr. Analyst serves as a focal point in the hub to support and communicate with the Local Services in Asia Pacific to perform the monthly closing/ daily requests or operations from capitalizations to disposal, assets transfer, impairments of fixed assets in accordance with the Group Corporate policies, IFRS standards and with audit compliance, in the same time to provide efficient financial support to the stakeholders for internal/ external audit purposes.

  • Performall the necessary steps and checks in accordance with the InternalControl Requirements (ICS)

  • Prepare and maintain the fixed assets data/ register for Local Services.

  • Processfixed asset transaction (capitalization, transfer, write-off/disposal, impairment and workflow request.

  • Perform month end task (monitor depreciation run and project settlement run,identifying, checking & correcting validation errors) 

  • Prepare monthly fixed asset movement report for both group and local –reconciliation of down payment, reconciliation of clearing account for acquisition and disposal, reconciliation of balance sheet and asset history sheet.

  • Assistin trouble shooting, decision making, identification andcommunication of potential issues.

  • Able to coach and provide guidance/ solutions if there are issues faced by the Junior Analyst  and Analyst in their daily or closing activities

  • Participate in continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Reviewand update the working instruction/standard operating procedures.

  • Conductthe activities in Runbook and to ensure the activities are performedwithin the set timeline and ensure the ICS documentation is inplace.

  • Supporting LS in terms of internal and external audit.

  • Ensure complete fixed assets records and details are kept for audit purposes.

  • Perform all the necessary steps and checks in accordance with the Internal Control Requirements (ICS)

  • Establishand maintain strong working relationship with Local Services andCOE.

  • Providesupport and service requests from Local Services in a timely manner.

  • Undertakeany other assignments/ projects that may be assigned from time totime.
