Ensuring the company policy and objective are understood among the subordinates, manage, coach and develop new and current staff as well as monitoring their performance and progression.
To manage key supplier performance including cost, delivery & quality.
To negotiate with 3Rd party logistics service providers including warehouses, shipping lines, contractors, sub-contrators and carriers on rates and conditions for the benefit of the company.
Coordination with customers, agents and suppliers
Possess strong analytical skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution/solving.
To consult and negotiate with authorities (MITI/MIDA/Custom) or any other agencies for necessary procedure, license, and benefit scheme.
To analyse the current logistics operation and propose improvements, manage operations efficiently by re-organising the task based on business expectation needs and create the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Prepare the annual budget and forecasts as required.
Prepare competitive quotation and meeting deadlines set by relevant parties.
Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time from the superior.
